Cradle Cincinnati is a dynamic team working to rally partners from around Hamilton County and the state of Ohio to lower the number of local infant deaths. We cannot do this alone, so our work is all about building strong partnerships. 

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to oversee the execution of a complex, multi-year initiative aimed to support infant mortality reduction efforts across Ohio. This high-impact role requires a strategic thinker and skilled communicator who can manage multiple priorities, coordinate across diverse stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of project outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

Program Management & Project Planning 

  • Oversee the day-to-day coordination of project activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and requirements. 

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk management frameworks for the initiative’s implementation. 

  • Coordinate with relevant internal staff responsible for key project components to ensure effective execution of program activities. 

  • Track and report on project milestones, identifying and addressing risks to keep the project on schedule and within scope. 

Partnership Building and Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Serve as primary liaison between Cradle Cincinnati and external partners. 

  • Facilitate collaboration among diverse stakeholders, including healthcare institutions, nonprofit organizations, community leaders, and other partners. 

  • Organize and lead regular stakeholder meetings to review progress, address challenges, and solicit feedback. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all partners to foster trust and sustain long-term engagement.

Communication and Reporting 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project communications, ensuring clear and consistent messaging across stakeholders. 

  • Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and updates for leadership, funders, and community partners. 

  • Develop communication plans and tools to ensure project staff and partners are aware of the progress and other relevant updates 

Data Management & Evaluation 

  • Work with internal teams and external partners to establish data collection frameworks and performance indicators. 

  • Support the analysis and sharing of project data to inform decision-making and demonstrate impact. 

  • Support project evaluation and integration of findings into project refinement. 

  • Support efforts to institutionalize key program learnings and practices. 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, healthcare administration, public health, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, preferably within public health or community development initiatives. 

  • Demonstrated understanding of program and project management methodologies and tools 

  • Proven ability to manage multi-year, large-scale projects with diverse stakeholders. 

  • Experience in community engagement and relationship building with diverse stakeholders (i.e. community-based organizations, hospital systems, etc.) 

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. 

  • Familiarity with maternal and infant health 

Work Environment 

This position involves a combination of in-office and remote work. The selected individual must be based in Cincinnati, OH. Periodic travel (within Ohio) will be required.
