Join Queens Village for a girls night out at the Cincinnati Museum Center to view their newest exhibit "Girlhood (It’s complicated)."
”Girlhood (It’s complicated)” explores the concept of girlhood in the United States and how young women have influenced politics, education, work, health, and fashion. Throughout history, girls have spoken up, challenged expectations, and been on the front lines of social change. Although definitions of girlhood have changed, what it means to grow up female in the United States has always been part of the American conversation. “Girlhood (It’s complicated)”, an exhibition of the Smithsonian’s American Women’s History Initiative, was created by the National Museum of American History and the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service.
”Girlhood (It’s complicated)” is generously in partnership with Cincinnati Museum Center.
