Patrice Pennington Continues to Support Moms and Babies as Director of Cradle Cincinnati Connections

Cradle Cincinnati would like to welcome Patrice Pennington as our new Director of Connections! Patrice is a Cincinnati native and a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. She’s been in the nonprofit world for all of her career – almost 20 years. Before joining Cradle Cincinnati, Patrice worked to develop leadership, community building and management skills in young leaders while serving for AmeriCorps Public Allies. “I chose this path because I’ve always wanted to serve and contribute to the wellbeing of others,” says Patrice.

“I come from a small but mighty family, that has often supported me through the highs and lows of life." She feels that the support she receives from her family resonates with her day-to-day work because of the way the Connections team and Cradle Cincinnati as whole support moms when they need it the most.

Cradle Cincinnati Connections works to ensure families have the resources they need to thrive by connecting them to services that allow for enhanced maternal and fetal health as well as child health. Additionally, Cradle Cincinnati Connections works endlessly to fill system gaps by providing a team that includes nurses, social workers, community health workers, a dietitian and a mental health specialist, who all work to directly serve families, giving them the support and resources they need to succeed.

We are so excited about all of the great things Patrice will do as the new Director of Cradle Cincinnati Connections!
