Request for proposal - Addressing implicit bias in prenatal care

As part of Cradle Cincinnati’s new strategic plan, our partners have agreed to address implicit bias in the prenatal care setting. We aim to do so in order to 1) reduce stress for mom, 2) improve adherence to prenatal care and 3) ultimately reduce racial disparities in preterm birth. We will take a variety of approaches to do so and are seeking a partner who can help 1) train our internal staff on implicit bias and related issues, 2) train a diverse set of prenatal care leaders on implicit bias with an emphasis on actionable steps to help address bias and 3) develop strategies alongside our equity leadership team for future phases of the work.Proposals are due October 22.
